Has Anyone Been Waiting To See This?

So here SHE is! I don't know why it's taken us so long to post the picture... better late then never I suppose. She has arms and legs, her brain, heart, abdomen, are all the right size. The dark spot in her chest is her strong little heart. It really is amazing that we are afforded such an incredible view of our developing little person.

I'm feeling good and round and hungry. I've felt some movement which is exciting and great for quelling anxiety about not feeling anything. It's very distinct now, no longer confused with other types of "movement". Someone is definitely jabbing me...

An Older Play Pal

My dear, dear friend "Mondale" and his darling wife welcomed their new son into the world last night, and have posted pictures here.

I am probably as excited about the Mondales' new arrival as I am about my nieces. Not least, this adds to my advisory panel of those who have gone before. It also means another, slightly older, buddy for the Newt.

In other news, due to a scheduling snafu our expected sonogram meant for yesterday had to be rescheduled for next Monday so we don't yet know the gender of the Newt. The heart beat is as strong as ever however and we think the wee bugger is starting to get his/her groove on in Jessie's tum as there has been some fluttery movement.
