Yay Christmas!

Scout is of the age where the general excitement of the holiday season translates even if the concept behind it doesn't. She had a splendid time being in the company of happy and relaxed people, and even learned to say "Ho ho ho" (but there will be plenty of time for that sort of thing later). Based on these photos it might seem that we missed the point of the holiday ourselves, but in our defence I must say that opening presents was one of the few times there were enough hands on deck to keep little miss in frame and not either running hither and thither or throwing mashed potatoes at people. So without further ado, here are a few impressions via Canon-san's magical snapping device:

Come on dad- dig a tunnel for the reindeer. Stop lolly-gagging.

Home tree, avec les chiens.

Cor- its a bit snowy out here, isn't it? This tunnel is deeper than me!

Come on- up the coast. Chop chop.

Yay! Grammie and Grampie!

Done Anything Fun Lately?

It has been a busy few weeks, but it is about time we posted some new pics for you all:

"How are we supposed to creep up on the leatherette grape if you keep letting the camera flash off?"

"I got a Christmas card from my big cousin! Yay Emmy-Lou!"

Nice around here, isn't it?

"Quick! Get us a long coat so we can freak people out."

Nice ladies on the shore.

All business, no messin. Hikes don't conduct themselves.

The next day: Thanksgiving Morning on Kebo Mountain.

Sir Edmund Hillary and Tensing Norgay.

"Hey N- let's split, man. These adults are dullsville." Thanksgiving with our pals and the best turkey ever...

Test-driving the outfit for Ruby.

Mom's work. Kid crawling through blower door fan opening strictly optional.
