  • 1. I really need to paint the floors where the dogs have been wrestling.

    2. Please note that I am reading about how expensive Bowdoin College is rather than agreeable stories about snow shoeing and fly fishing in the Down East picture.

  • expensive yes but have you heard about their hefty endowments translating to grants for all future students? no more loans for bowdoin students

  • Have you noticed how the toys on the baby bjorn are exactly (and i mean exactly) the same colours as the useful colour coding of the UK political establishment? I used to have fun with the wee Hen imagining By-elections and spinning them. Whichever one span the longest was the winner. Once we even attempted an entire General Election with over 670 seats in play but we lost count after Bristol West.

  • What, no coloured bear for the Natural Law Party?

MSM- Stanford just joined in the free tuition for >$100K crowd. Now the choice is keep that income low or pay for college so that SCB can get a degree that will allow her to go out and have to keep her income low so her kids can get a reduced ride in college, etc etc...

  • PS: I want to work at Bowdoin, or any other institution that has an endowment. Fundraising without one is going to give me an ulcer...
