Scout weighed in at 10lbs 2 ozs on Tuesday. A four pound weight gain in five weeks - we must be doing something right. Now that she's filled out some we've been able to start the cloth diaper regime. It has been a bit of an adjustment but then again Scout changes so much so quickly everyday is an adjustment.

Scary Ernie - - Luckily Scout was sleeping or else the weird plushie shriners may have put her off every major Sesame Street and classic cartoon characters.
It wouldn't be the 4th in Maine without lobster on the porch. Well... it would but not as good!
Dad finally indulges in the cliche "Sunglasses on the Baby" shot. We'll have to add it in next to the "Sunglasses on a Dog" collection.
G. Les gets a quiet moment with the sprout... finally.

Oh you have such a beautiful family ! It's a good thing Scout didn't see those costumed weirdos. Gabe was almost seven by the time he was not absolutely terrified by large, strange, fuzzy, walking cartoon people. Even now his body language changes when we see a giant headed freak in bright colors...who wouldn't. Protect Scout at all costs. Maybe Michael Moore's next film can expose the trama caused to children by walking Ronald McDonalds, Hamburglers, Grimaces, and the like let alone Disney's potential nightmare creaters.
